Reset password
Recently, there have been an increasing number of questions about how exactly the password dispatch works at Leveto. Be it when creating a new user or resetting the password.
When the user/portal customer is created, two separate system e-mails are sent.
- The first e-mail contains the user name.
- The second email contains a link for creating a secure password.
Via the link in the second e-mail, the user/end customer is automatically taken to the login area of LEVETO/the end customer portal and is asked to create a password. The password must contain a certain password strength.
Once the password has been created, the user is directed to the login area and can log in with their access data.
Passwords can no longer be entered or changed in other people's user settings. Only the user himself can change his password in his settings.
A system administrator who has user administration rights can reset the password for employees in the user settings.
The employee will then receive the link again with which they can create their password.
Forgotten password
If a user forgets their password, they can generate a new password in the login area via "Forgot password".
Alternatively, they can contact the user administrator, who will send them an email with a link to create a new password via "Reset password" in their user settings.
