Changes to check for duplicates
Error message when creating duplicate leads
If you manually create a lead that already exists, there was previously only an error message if the lead came from the same source. Now you can set in the project settings whether this error message should check across all sources.
Until now, possible duplicates were reported if the same e-mail AND the same source were found.
LEVETO now checks for phone number, e-mail and source across all sources.
Provided that the check mark is set or removed in the respective project in the project settings.
Settings for checking for duplicates
Projects → Manage project → Project name → Project settings → General → Only check lead duplicates in the same source.
If the check mark is on, the system checks for the same source, the same e-mail and the same telephone number.
If the check mark is off, the source is not checked, but only checked for the same e-mail and the same telephone number. This means that you can receive or create one and the same lead from two different sources.
